In the hit film "The Secret," several authors and speakers discuss how to use the law of attraction to manifest good in your life. They talk about meditating on things they feel grateful for to see more positive events come their way. They talk about visualizing that perfect parking space to avoid frustrations while driving. They talk about creating a wish board to focus on goals and positive outcomes. In fact, there are many ways to see the law of attraction in action.

Many people wonder how to use the law of attraction to lose weight. It's easy to get caught up on how many pounds you'd like to lose, but the keys to the laws of attraction involve positive imagery, positive affirmations and positive goals. Instead, write down what it will feel like and how your life will be different once you reach your goal. Then, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes and visualize your success and contentment. By doing this several times a week, you will create a positive framework for reaching your goal. Many people like to post a picture of when they were slimmer and try to remember how good it felt to be thin. If you don't have an old picture, then find a photo of someone who has the figure you'd like to think about. Think about the fun exercises you've been doing and about all the delicious nutritional food you've been eating.

People also wonder how to use the law of attraction to attract wealth. It's almost instinctual to focus incessantly on how little money you have or how you must get out of debt and feel panicked. It helps to focus on ways of increasing your cash flow and generating more money instead. However, the most successful entrepreneurs apply the law of attraction by visualizing and affirming success. For instance, in "The Science of Wealth" by Wallace Wattles, a renter imagined improving the home and one day owning it; he visualized himself walking around the home, seeing it as improved, and also holding the keys. Eventually this reality manifested itself. Others like to create a "vision board," comprised of pictures that embody hopes, dreams and desires, whether it be stacks of money, a dream house, a vacation or a slimmer body. Using mantras, like "money comes to me easily and frequently," are also effective techniques.  

Some people wonder how to use the law of attraction to improve self esteem. They say it only takes 21 consecutive days of practice to eliminate a harmful habit or thought. For instance, if you are struggling with anxiety, then you should try reiterating a positive affirmation every day for 21 days straight. You might say to yourself, "At the core of my being, I am always peaceful and calm." After 21 days, you will believe it. To feel good overall, law of attraction books say you should tell yourself, "Every day and in every way, I am getting better and better." To help you stick to your goal, you should write down this affirmation and post it on a bulletin board next to a calendar, where you check off all the days you used this affirmation to improve your life.
